I have no idea where the old sticky post is, but anyways... thanks to Posts we have a new, easy, working system for adding ad's.
Post them here, and if approved, they will be placed on the top of the forums.
Specifications:
Resolution = 650 x 100
File Size = 40kB max
File Type = .gif (jpg/png acceptable)
Must be = SAFE FOR WORK
Must be = RELATED to what it links...
You can = Link external sites as long as they're safe and appropriate
You can = Link forum posts
You can't = Link a random image for no raisin.

Just to clarify...
Does this mean that enterprising individuals could make a banner promoting their band/tv series/blog/comic book/sound pack/custom map/youtube clips/etc.?

you can make ads to promote anything you want
you can make ads that are nothing more than a funny joke totally unrelated to j2
you can make ads to make a serious political statement
you can make ads that look like actual banner ads
you can do whatever you want, creativity is ENCOURAGED
it just has to be non-commercial - no ACTUAL ads allowed
