Admin, feel free to drop the comments from the Custom Maps thread here. I'll be posting here from now on concerning this map. EDIT: nevermind, looks like it got posted here: viewtopic.php?f=185&t=52301 . Ill be posting there from now on.so we got a couple of tests & here are the fixes:
--doors now only open by touch from the proper teams.
--extended game clock from 5 to 8 minutes.
--capture time has been increased to 5 seconds on the ring cap points & end cap to 10 with 3 needed to cap center.
--made respawnviz on outside of doors.
--added a 30 second "setup" time although the door are open from the start, eliminates scout rushing.
--energy explosion effects & more realistic physics for bridge
--sniper posts are their proper team color
--new terrain-based means of getting to upper levels + direction arrows to arch CPs
--added full health kit on very top of the bottom arch, as a mirror to the full ammo on the opposite end.
I attempted to add a koth_logic & it worked mostly, yet, it'd change the map emphasis to the center rather than the 3 arches. I didn't want to change it to that yet but what do you all think? I could get it to work but basically it'd be a koth map with three points that deactivate the middle. If the game still ends quickly after the CP time boost, Ill do that.
Also, I want to make this PSD the icons for the images, for some reason this VTF plugin isnt working right now. Could anyone quickly convert them to "VTF: Vtex compile parameters "clamps", "clampt". note: env_sprite_oriented #angles."
