It's fine if you don't like Avatar. Really. It is. I thought you'd might like to engage a bit more, but you don't, so whatever.

lol. how old are you? I'm not sure what "whatever" means where you come from, but I meant it to mean I will drop it. Same thing I meant by: "It's boring and pointless to continue to try and engage in a debate if you are going to go with the "in my opinion" response."

I'm sorry I confused you. I'm probably no better by bringing this up, but still... cheap shots are not cool.

I liked it.

That one part where the main dude jumps the gunner deck on the top of the big ship and is like shooting his gun one-handed like ratatatatatat! was awesome and then the big mechs and the main bad dude was like knife fighting in one so cool. Then it was great when the main bad dude just like opened the airlock cus he was pissed and wanted to start shooting at them while they were stealing the chopper. bad asssss! I liked the glowing helicopter lizards too! And those floaty things that liked the main dude were neat.

The movie had everything: space marines, mechs, choppers w/door-gunners, dinosaurs, dragons, big mystical trees, forests, aliens, Ripley, T-5 Medic Irwin Wade, explosions etc. couldn't have asked for anything more from a movie except for maybe nudity.

I saw it in glorious "PROPER DVDSCR XviD-MAXSPEED" format which really everyone should see it in, you're missing out on the visuals otherwise.

I'd just like to remind you that insulting Avatar doesn't make your taste any better.

It was a shit story, but it had amazing audio/visual effects. That's all there was to it. It was eye candy done extremely well. This wasn't some Transformers or GI Joe bullshit, this was new shit. This was the Metropolis of the 21st Century. It also had a shit story but was revolutionary with its visuals. There are a few staple gimmicky 3D shots, but you can't say that the directing and cinematography suffered because of a few shots that weren't innovative enough. Cameron and crew take full advantage of the technology throughout most of the film, especially during the action sequences and establishing shots.

If you were offered two and a half hours to have the hottest sex with the hottest girl no strings attached...are you going to turn her down because she's dumb? I mean unless you are in a relationship already why the hell wouldn't you? Tell me when her IQ becomes relevant when shes giving you amazing head?

right on.

but i thought the plot was cool.

I'm not gonna bother reading to see if all my arguments have been said, so suffice to say I did not like this movie.

I finally saw this movie last night. I thought it was one of the best I've seen.

it uses a shared plot, similar to how once you've seen a romance chickflick, you've seen every romance chickflick. Watch Fern Gully, Dances With Wolfs or Pochahontas & you'll see it.

i laughed SO hard at that larp

"i'll make sahelo right now .. OOH OOOOOOHH OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH... that was really nice sahelo"

and eh, basically, story and characters suck, but it's really pretty

feels like the crysis of movies, but not that pretty

and the 3D didn't do shit. it's just 3d pasted on a movie. 3D looks awesome if the movie really plays with it, but eh, it's just an annoying gimmic if it's just there for nothing

I saw it yesterday.
Well, the visuals were nice and that planet does look like a paradise, but the plot was cheesy as fuck and I could predict almost everything that was gonna happen.
Pretty visuals, and that's about it. The movie got vastly overhyped and didn't interest me like I hoped it would.

It felt like a box with a nice package and shit, but the box itself is empty.
