ban requests
to request a ban edit this page:
http://wiki.joe.to/index.php/Tf2_todo
we ban for the following:
racism via name, chat, voice, spray, or any other communication
purposely teamkilling
hardcore griefing (generally ruining the game for everyone else)
if you see this behavior you are helping us out by TELLING US. we really appreciate it if you help us clean up the server instead of just leaving! thank you!
to report someone, please post the info here: Post the date, time (as exact as possible, include a timezone), and which server it happened on (1,2,3), what happened, and if possible a screenshot. We will confirm events with the logs so you don't have to get the exact name or steamID but it helps. type status in console to get someone's exact name or steamID.
If you need someone banned RIGHT NOW, tell us on IRC, or use Friends, AIM, Ventrilo, XFire, or get ahold of us somehow. Most admin have their information available on the forums.[/b][/size]

Griefing report
(Apologies if this shouldn't go here, just registered and didn't want to clutter the forum with a new topic. Feel free to delete this post.)
Name: My Friend
Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:16124482
While playing on www.joe.to | TF2 #1 during cp_dustbowl, an engineer named at first "the blue team" and then renamed to "my friend" blocked the blue team respawn door with the teleport exit glitch. He rebuilt everytime the attacking team came and killed him. He was obviously griefing the team.
Screenshot of him stuck in the top of the door blocking it, with everyone waiting for him to die:
Proof.

Re: bans and ban requests
Because it's "a hold". 'Hold' is the noun, and 'a' is the article.

'ahold' is a word just like 'yall' is a word. It's not.

err, it sure is a word. a real word, not like ain't or y'all (both of which are actually contractions, not words anyway)Avvatar wrote:'ahold' is a word just like 'yall' is a word. It's not.

So, like Avvatar said, it's like y'all.Ahold does not exist as a word in standard English.

Re: bans and ban requests
the first example uses it as a noun, instead of an adverb. which i agree is incorrect english.
the second example is wikipedia which isn't worth a fart in a windstorm.
dictionary.com, merriam-webster.com, and answers.com (which is good enough for google) all show it as a word.
granted, it is considered casual and is most often used to transcribe written speech. maybe forty years ago you'd get in trouble for using it but not any more.
i stand by my earlier statement.

Just to let you know, I kicked some guy today for racism/douchebaggery. He had a swastika for his player logo, and i was like "hey, uh, you probably shouldnt have that" and he was just being an arrogant cock about it. Like responding with "HAHA SIG HEIL HAHAHAHA" n shit. Just lettin you know so if he is on again you dont have to go through a bunch of rigamarole
