Re: Hey, let's get rid of double overheal already.
So that is why the overheals are so weird, the medic from last season was confused by the higher overheal numbers when he joined tf4 last. Default overheal would allow for snipers to kill the heavies easier from a full charged headshot, and might make it easier on teams having issues with a medic+he...

Re: PlayComp - Website dedicated to introducing players to C
Been in comp for ~4 years now. There definitely a lot of challenges in the mix, especially if you are creating your own team. I suggest if you are forming your own team that you find a co-leader to help divide the work load (between talking to your match team, talking to scrim partners, organizing e...

PlayComp - Website dedicated to introducing players to Comp
I have been following a discussion on the UGC league's forum, and they have started an initiative to primarily help players who either don't know about comp and want to find out, or know about it but don't know how to participate. This initiative is in the form of a website. The website goes over th...

Re: I can't take TF2 seriously
Cosmetics are actually usually shown off in the pre-scrim or pre-match in the competitive scene. It also helps with team bonding to have some fun with cosmetic load-outs. You will find people who refuse to use cosmetics because they think it will give them away, but those are few and far to find.

Re: I can't take TF2 seriously
Just figured out the duck journals are usable (instead of just cosmetic action slot), and it is a noise maker on top of whatever it does. And works while dead too.

Re: The End of the Line update is here
Winter Crates started dropping. I don't think we have seen the actual End of the Line.

Re: I can't take TF2 seriously
The ducks were weird, but a cool integration of the EotL movie. And we had Ducks back in the event map. I wear a Duck Journal proudly[in the silliest way of saying proudly] while going into TF2 both on the custom map server, and when I do Highlander lobbies/scrims (would say matches but it is off-se...

Skyrim Mod - Skooma Bear - Definitive Edition
So I can obsess sometimes if I have an idea about a mod, or changes to one I have already done. Skooma Bear falls into the latter category. When FreeFrag Network existed, I collaborated with one of their members to create a Skooma Bear, a bear addicted to moon sugar, and the idea was based off of th...

Re: Smart Watches
Think it is a cool idea, but there is little practicality in the smart watches that you cannot get from your current portable device (which probably can give you more features too). I see this being useful as it has been said above for health applications primarily, although I could see this being a...

I am cautiously optimistic about this. From what I have seen so far, it looks like Overwatch could be fun.

Re: stop spamming me with virus links (fix your steam)
A second one seems to be making rounds that mainly attempts to hijack accounts and in some cases take items in addition to this one. Two members of my highlander team were hit with that one. Seems anti-virus fixed that issue though, not sure about this one. Wish there weren't as many scammers out th...

Skyrim Pizza - Hearthfire Edition - Release
So I am a Skyrim modder in addition to a TF2 player/etc. Recently I got back into playing Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim again, and was noting the Hearthfire content, and how it would help out an old mod I did, Skyrim Pizza With the Hearthfire content, I changed the bread requirement to flour for the origi...

Re: Custom Map Request Thread - PLEASE READ FIRST POST
Noticed a few older versions of maps on here. Not sure if these versions work better for a community server than the current ones, but I thought I would inform. koth_ramjam is now in b9 instead of b7: http://www.ugcleague.net/downloads/maps/koth_ramjam_b9.zip Changelog between the versions ( http://...

Re: what's in your tf2 backpack?
A TF2 Museum. A lot of my items are rooted back in the early days where there was only one alternative and hats/hat offers were new. Notable items (approx 8 pages of items in the backpack): Black Cat Noise Maker TF2 Birthday Noise Maker Strange Fire Axe Strange Gloves of Running Urgently Strange Nat...
