It's essentially a DRM scheme, there is no main menu so you must be connected to battlelog to play. I thought the server browser was bare bones and a bit buggy, better than the BF2 and 2142 browsers maybe but that's not saying much

Weird, I figured they would at least let you use the browser in game with the Origin or Steam browser overlays
