wow...so i turned a bunch of stuff into illusionary with clipping brushes (including the stairs)
and shrunk down the hitlar cube as much as i could...and now it compiles in 30min.

i'll post a DL link a little later after i pakrat it

nah i wouldn't take anything out, just turn more brushes into entities.

but yeah, good point. hitlar cube isn't helping.

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a341/bobjones3124/map3.jpg outsides pretty much done, just have to add a few more lights and finalize what skybox i want to use (most are just black on the bottom which is making this part a little more difficult) insides are like...60% done. tedious boring work so...

jones that looks cool too, you know you could probably pull of knife-only if you still had objectives...

hmmm... instead of ka i think ill give everyone a pistol, but without any ammo (only what you have in that clip). i played a game a long long time ago where there was a glitch that you couldn't buy ammo for a few rounds. i remember having alot of fun. conserving shots, taking the gun of the guy you ...

I didn’t really want to have any gimmick maps like a knife only map. I was hoping for all normal cs_ or de_ maps that just have a bizarre setting but I suppose if you can make a ka_ map unique enough that’s ok. i know, and i agree. it's just that this map would be no fun with guns. unless it was hl...

-mine is going to be a ka_
(i wish it wasn't, but that's the only way it's going to work)

-64 spawns is craziness, 32 is going to be pushing it.
