edit: Second thoughts, this update is just like any other update made by valve. Weapons that can be broken easily (new sniper rifles has no drawback if he is being healed/ no falling damage will fuck with custom maps), another rocket launcher for the soldier (he has like 6), no new grenade launcher...

Just judging from the stats, I kind of like the new scout's pistol...though +50% fire damage vulnerability is kind of a lot.

Glad to see that there's finally a new SMG for the sniper.

The new rocket launcher seems okay. Perhaps for more enclosed maps and such.

And tomorrow's likely update will be #299 Episode 1 and Monday's will be #299 Episode 2 and then no news about anything for 5+ years. :P

A strange minigun is about 3 keys (or about 7.5 ref).

JC2 singleplayer was very fun. I can assume multiplayer would be awesome.
