I've established somewhat of a concept for my map. I'm thinking of doing a blend of nature and technology/matrix-y stuff.
Also, I've been wondering for a while. Is Pakrat an alternative to bspzip?

Are .wav files still the preferred file format for looping stuff and general custom sounds, or are mp3's good to use? I don't see a reason not to use mp3s, but most maps that have custom sounds use wav format so that's what I did. I believe mp3s are more for soundscapes but I could be wrong. For th...

The dumb thing with CS:GO though is that they made custom sounds a lot less convenient. Last I checked, you had to edit the sound.cache file and snd_rebuildaudiocache whenever you wanted to add new sounds.

has anyone ever experienced this? Sometimes after visiting one part of my map, the other half just wont be there the next round. I went to one of the bombsites during one round, and then planted the bomb, it exploded, blah blah blah. But then the next round, I went to go to the other side of my map ...

Am I wrong for hating the new mannpower gamemode? Every server I go on, people are flying around like Spider-Man on meth and practically forgetting that there's even a point to the mode itself.

I've been quiet about this lately (mostly because everything is going good so far) but I want to get a piano model out of another game. How do I go about this? Is just copying the model and it's vtfs/vmts from the game gcf and bzpzipping it into my map enough? Do I need to edit the vmts to point to ...

I am having a problem with complaining where when the game launches, Both teams are "full" even though I am the only one there. It seems to be caused by the "seizure death room" that I created. The log seems to give word about an error finding portalsides or something like that. ...
