Make sure it is the proper sound type. Maybe that is the issue.

Sounds like you didn't add any cue points to me. If you add sounds they wont automatically loop unless you specify where it should replay by adding cuepoints, you need a sound editing program to do so.

Is this for source or hlo1 games? My guess is you didn't put cue points in the .wav you made.

ok again you do NOT extract any files. you do not put anything anywhere. all these models and sprites from the gcf are IN the game they are built into it thats what a gcf is

Oh jeeze you really don't know much do you lol. you can find the shell model in half-life.gcf. it uses the half-life game CS is a mod of it. the path is where ever you find it in the gcf so if you have to go into the sound folder then the ambience folder to use crickets.wav the path is sound/amience...

Do not place them in your cstrike folder that would make no sense, it is already in the game if it is from the gcf. just find out what the path is and add it in the model/sprite/sound file name line. e.g. (sound/vox/hello.wav) If you are adding other sounds/sprites/models that are not from the gcf j...

I did that on my map de_myth so yeah, use path_tracks inbetween the path_corners. The path_corners should mainly be used for the start and end of destination, in your case I dont think you even need path_corners just path_tracks.

Yeah, it's possible. Remove the func_traincontrols on it, and I believe don't give the func_train a name either. That SHOULD work, I know I have done it on my map de_myth.

Make your design of the train and put a cube of the origin texture (preferably in the center of the train) and group all of it together, make it a func_train.
