website down for a couple days
i had a HD bite the dust and had to run out and buy a new one and install from scratch. SATA drives suck! the connector is a tiny piece of flimsy plastic
anyway at the same time we did a reinstall HomeDawg helped me fix a bunch of problems i've been having with minor server things, and i also did a downgrade back to php4 which is phpbb compatible. the server had been running php 5 which caused some errors i couldn't figure out how to solve.
in summary, site should be better than it was before this problem and i apologize for the site being down. with a new HD and some of the oldest little problems fixed the server should be better than ever.
i also want to thank the many ppl that stopped by the IRC channel to help. it was nice seeing all the new ppl and i hope you stick around for a while.
