Republican approval ratings are gonna drop even further than the Bush administration achieved methinks once people realize that no, there are no death panels or any retarded shit like that

Right but I don't know where they think they're gonna find all the new personnel for hospitals and the like to handle the sudden influx of patients, let alone all the supplies for it.neelpos wrote:Republican approval ratings are gonna drop even further than the Bush administration achieved methinks once people realize that no, there are no death panels or any retarded shit like that

I'm reminded of a Cracked article which outlined crazy things people have achieved with computers...Base wrote:Right but I don't know where they think they're gonna find all the new personnel for hospitals and the like to handle the sudden influx of patients, let alone all the supplies for it.neelpos wrote:Republican approval ratings are gonna drop even further than the Bush administration achieved methinks once people realize that no, there are no death panels or any retarded shit like that
one of those was a man who had no credentials whatsoever, but applied to, and got the job of being a doctor at a local hospital
apparently he worked there for like, three years, performed 180 procedures, and none of them required medical expertise (apparently)

Wow lol... If that's true, then we need to be even more strict with who we let be our doctors. But that prolly isn't true since Cracked isn't exactly the most reliable source.neelpos wrote:I'm reminded of a Cracked article which outlined crazy things people have achieved with computers...Base wrote:Right but I don't know where they think they're gonna find all the new personnel for hospitals and the like to handle the sudden influx of patients, let alone all the supplies for it.neelpos wrote:Republican approval ratings are gonna drop even further than the Bush administration achieved methinks once people realize that no, there are no death panels or any retarded shit like that

We'll see what actually changes. My wife is applying for insurance now, to see if they deny her again based on her pre-existing condition which they may or may not (probably will). It may take up to a year before they create the high-risk pool that adults with pre-existing conditions can enroll in until the exchange opens up in 2014.

So, all in all, not much will change for some time. Republicans will be able to maintain that the real government take over happens in 2014 while the Democrats will be able to point at few immediate benefits and many uninsured will feel cheated by the slow change.
I don't see good things happening in November for the Democrats, because I think it's the perfect Republican PR storm.
