Grand Theft Auto V Trailer Officially Released

Make sure to watch in 720p.
Good God. It's gorgeous. The voice-over and scenery is a completely convincing set-up, transporting the viewer to a Southern California consumer utopia of fast cars and lush golf courses. But, this being GTA, there are dark undertones of a murky past, a disturbing future and a present gone horribly wrong. This is a world of home repossessions, environmental pollution, drug-deals and poverty. This is the world we recognize; the Californian dream in all its 21st Century perversions and contradictions. Do I want to explore this world, and the dangers within? You bet.

Yeah, but it isn't "front page". A new GTA game is pretty big too.

Socal....fuck that.
Also, the narration sounds like how i ended up here, HOW CLICHE!
I don't know if it's because the thing is an early trailer ,but the game ,aside from replicating shit cal, lack the personality of the other games.
4/10

Betting at least Los Santos, Las Venturas, and San Fierro. Based just on those hiking shots, it's not just LA/socal. Also, I hear "I don't consider LA to be part of Socal" here in San Diego. Wut.

If that were true then SoCal would basically be San Diego county and... well that's it.

I'm betting more Redwood county or w/e it was called in SA.

Don't see why they wouldn't use at least as much as was in San Andreas.

EDIT: Just looked at the map for San Andreas again, I forgot how ridiculously shaped it was. As in, square.
