Natural Selection 2 update - Gorilla

Post by mbaxter » Sun Feb 05, 2012 1:15 pm

You should buy Natural Selection 2.

I'll wait here while you go purchase it. Or are you not convinced? Maybe this trailer will help.

With the latest 'Gorilla' beta patch the NS2 team adds jetpacks as an option for the brave marines and the ability to evolve into a monstrous Onos for the aliens. Additionally this update, coupled with the previous large update, results in much smoother gameplay for players.

The game is currently available for pre-order, with instant beta access, for 35 dollars. We'll be having another NS2 night soon, and I'll expect you there!

This is what's keeping me from buying it. I very rarely can stomach playing games at less than a smooth 60 frames per second, and my rig isn't that powerful, so if there isn't a way to make it run smoothly on a GTX 260, no thanks.

I've never had issues with framerate and the input delay was patched out 6+ months ago IIRC

FPS issues were resolved a long time ago.

I bought this game a few days ago and it has really bad frame rate. It is basically unplayable for me. So dont buy it

I....I don't even know what to say to you.

Your post reads like a minecrafters. I was genuinely surprised to find your most active forum wasn't Minecraft. You should be ashamed.

More people should get this so we have more than 8 people for an NS2 night.

I guess i could be more specific, here are the specs to my Asus G73jh. It was a top of the line notebook in the summer of 2010.

If your pc is at this level or worse, don't waste your $30 on it like i did, because it will run really shitty.
