to be blunt if you're a white male you're the king of the fucking world. male because look at the discrimination that continually happens in america against women, walmart, sexual discrimination, etc.

And need4whatever is right, blacks ARE stereotyped, there ARE people that are out there that do hate blacks just for BEING black, i mean shit rick santorum almost said the fucking n word 2 weeks ago, and there have ALWAYS been people who didn't want a black man in office (when obama was elected) simply stating the country wasn't ready (for the most part there still is racism about the president anyway)

there's a difference between being called a the "n" word and being called a cracker in this country, there's no doubt about it, blacks are still unfairly treated as are most races, you can't deny that.

White's were slaves in America before blacks were, they were just more numerous. There were black slave holders as well, the problem is it became a class system which fell along color lines.

pretty sure it's more than just slavery since you know segregation played a big part in it.

Right which is what I stated, segregation was a class system, or caste system, they weren't white and so couldn't afford the same luxuries, and it wasn't just blacks in America it was also Native Americans and anyone with different toned skin. On the west coast it became the Chinese or any one of Asian decent that felt a similar segregation. I believe some of it was actually fueled by Darwin's Theory of Evolution to justify it as a social behavior, it was also used as justification in both world wars by both sides to allow for the atrocities they committed. Though the ideas of a class system date farther back then the US and it is far easier to do on an outward appearance, Irish with the ginger hair and limerick speech as an example.

Stop trying to be cool and hear him out. Need4rush is right that African Americans are stereotyped and racism is far from gone in the US, but his post was more of a misplaced rant, seeing as the topic is NBC putting words in (or taking them out, as it were) of Zimmerman's mouth, effectively labeling him as a racist.
