Don't know if you guys have yet to hear about the ridiculous Oregon that happen today but I wanted to share this link that's got many of my colleagues and friends riled up. Just want to tell you guys that it has been a privilege to have been a part of this community and the values that you guys have taught so many of us. Considering that many of us were kids who grew up with all this I'm so glad to have a community that taught us how to be respectable and normal human beings who weren't silent about the bullshit.

But yeah just wanted to share and tell you guys that even as the media is probably going to go apeshit when they start picking up apart this news that my time in the industry has made me so proud that I could always tell others about you guys and show them that it isn't or doesn't have to be like pieces of shit like some people. Always hard fighting to get people to see the good parts of the internet and gaming communities and examples like had my colleagues all over my face today.

Look forward seeing if any of you guys will play MSG V online and if we could get a server. otherwise see you around or on tf2 randomly !

People post about crimes they're gonna commit on 4chan all the time, and half the time they get prevented because of it. And how does this hurt j2's reputation? We cant even say racial slurs, we've got as much to do with 4chan as Yahoo news.

But Blip, my life is in danger, several times now the top navy seal in the world has threatened my life and told me I'm dead, kiddo. I know these threats are real because I received 8 differing versions of them over the course of an hour and everything that is posted on a chan is true. Not like there's ever been a disclaimer at the top that explicitly states nothing you read is real, leading to countless shitposts that never go anywhere but in the one time out of millions that it does suddenly it's "WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP IT".

This event was tragic guys, trying to spread the blame to a message board and off the mentally unstable person who pulled the trigger is insane, especially considering it wasn't even a post that could narrow down a state, or even that it was going to involve a shooting, it was an edgy "watch out pacific northwest" post with a Pepe. /r9k/ is a trashhole but there was absolutely zero reason to think there was a credible threat based on the post.

Dude come on spoiler warning that stuff! I haven't watched this weeks episode of 'Mass Shooting in America' yet!

We really have seen great personal growth over the years in this community, you're absolutely right, Temp. This community has been a safe place and a second home to many throughout the years, myself included. Much appreciated, y'all.
