I get what you're saying Rat-morningstar, think about this. Remember the school shootings? How just about every kid got up in arms about it? There was a march literally about a month after it occured? And then there was a compound found in New Mexico and anyone here who watched CNN or MSNBC or other MSM did you guys see anything about it? Which is worse? A school shooting or a place where they train kids to do school shootings? Not only that the evidence was destroyed by the authorities! They found a body of a dead kid there too. And the Judge basically just let them off the hook with only a bail bond and a low sum at that. What gets me is I don't see the outcry about that. Why? It's this shit and a lot more that really bug the hell out of me and really question who does the media work for. Remember the march was for "justice" and more importantly they milked the gun issue for weeks.

If that was actually true, they would still be reporting on it today on the TV. And kids would be up in arms, alas though they are not.

My point was that one was milked for the guns, and the other was barely noted. That was what I was trying to explain upon the differences.

I've read about it a few times. People aren't as emphatic because they're entirely different situations. In one of them, those high school kids literally watched a bunch of their friends die in front of them. That's why it had more impact.

I can understand that from the student perspective but main point that I was emphasizing was the MSM push on the subject. Or rather lack there of.

And the "MSM" pushed it because of how vocal the students were for the reason in the post above. Sure, that new story is also very shocking and deserving of attention too, but there's reasons behind these things it's not some crazy conspiracy

Mainstream media will always find itself at the spotlight for bias ,but those with some common sense and critical thinking will always interpret the reality of those reports.
No need to jump to conspiracy every single time.

At the end of the day who has the final decision for what goes on air? And how long? I understand the other factors but you're still not getting who is in charge of it.

I completely agree Django. Thats why I also tend to boycott other subjects like EA, because fuck EA.
