I was working with the art department helping redress one of the rooms and a pool area. There were timelapse cameras set up, but I have no idea if they used that footage in the show or if they wanted the audience to think Gordon Ramsay did everything himself. Probably the latter.

They also had an excess of stock for things they bought and didn't use or want to return, like speakers and furniture, so I scored, like, 4 sets of speakers, a floor rug, some chairs, a light, an end table, and some other stuff, in addition to what they paid me. Reality shows!

Nah, I didn't talk to that guy, my buddy was helping him. I think he was on set for about 15 minutes that day, just long enough to do an interview where he talked about un-donkeyfying the hotel or whatever.
