hey ok so here's my problem.
my gf likes to watch movies on the tv from the computer. it's connect via hdmi cable, but i've got speakers connected to my sound card.
I on the other hand want to play some csgo and sc2 sometimes, and usually disable all the sounds..
anyways is there a way to enable both sound card and onboard motherboard sound, and choose which programs access it?
like on the sound mixer you have different volume controls for open programs. I'm thinking, enable both sound devices, and them mute different programs. i.e. sound card only VLC will be unmuted, and for the onboard mixer, only csgo or sc2 will be unmuted.
just a thought.

Re: Multiple sound outputs?
so i managed to kind of make it work. i can't seem to get csgo to come out of my headphone speakers even though the icon is there in the applications part of the sound mixer.
velly velly interesting..
