it was announced that sometime in mid april there's going to be a large scale public beta through fileplanet. 50,000-60,000 people.
i signed up for an april subscription earlier today ($7)

if this game is as good as the previews i'll definitely be getting it, playing it non-stop, and possibly hosting a server

i will too (minus hosting a server, plus playing in yours)

although working 10 hours a day 6 days a week this summer might put a damper in those plans... :cry:

Really looking forward to this game might be one of the games that gets me back into PC gaming again.

Whats the player server cap? Like 20?

There is no official cap, the server owner chooses how many people they want. If possible, they could have a 1000 person server.

i would pay $7 for an early crack at the beta.

however i will not get a fileplanet subscription because i want to fight this trend.

All that said, the game will not have a hard-locked player-limit, and as with Wolf ET, for sure, people will run larger servers (in Wolf ET many people run 64-player servers, for that ‘absolute mayhem’ experience).
