I can't seem to get it running. Thanks for the password, by the way. It tells me that the configuration or something was incorrect and doesn't run. I did exactly as the README said.

Yeah I hate people that play video games on easy, shits meant to be played on the hardest difficultly ALWAYS. That's what I do werd.

Securom will delete the game if it thinks it doesn't install. You have to either rename the Bioshock folder or end the setup process when the game tries to update right after you install the bulk of the game.

or use the pacsteam torrent, which doesn't have an installer - just run the exe from inside the bioshock folder

If you're running it in Vista, the exact same thing happened to me.

Go to the "vs redist" folder located on the disk and run the exe in that folder.

Nah, I'm running XP. I don't know much of computers, so can you tell me what "vs redist" is?

..the name of a folder on the disk where you'll find said executable file.

I feel that as of now, I have the intelligence off a stillborn fetus with down syndrome, because I still have absolutely no idea what you mean by "run the exe in vs redist folder."

On the bioshock DVD, there is a folder entitled "vs redist". If you double click on a folder in Windows XP, it will open the folder and display the files inside. If you double click on this folder that is called "vs redist", you will find a file inside. If you double click on this file, it will install something. After you double click on the file and install it, Bioshock should work.

Now, in Bioshock, you use the W, S, A and D keys to move forward, backward, left and right, respectively. If you move your mouse around, you will move your head around in game, thus enabling you to look anywhere you desire. If you have a weapon equipped, hitting the left button on your mouse will shoot it, and hitting the right button will look down the iron sights.

Oh, well I was using a crack, not a DVD. I see a Readme, BioShock.exe, some registry thing, and a .dll file.

How did you install Bioshock with a crack?

I used the link on Page 3 that Joe provided me.

Did you...install..Bioshock?

I tried to, but the exe won't run.
