Global Agenda 30% off coupons

Post by Bloodkraze » Tue Oct 26, 2010 7:13 pm

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I have 3 (I get more after the first 3 are used) 30% off coupons for Global Agenda.

I'll post the codes here so you can just go directly there and use it if you want without having to PM me directly.

Just make sure that if/when you use a code that you post in the thread letting everyone know which code you used so I can remove it from the list.

GACOUBLOODKRA32000
GACOUBLOODKRA32001
GACOUBLOODKRA32002

I know that you can use the code through the website

http://www.globalagendagame.com/thegame_shop.html

You also might be able to use it through Steam, if they have a spot to insert the coupon, not 100% sure if they do or not.

Keep in mind it stacks with the current 30% off, so instead of $21 it's $15. Which is a great deal.

Edit: On joe's request, here's some screenshots and a video.

Yes. In fact, HiRez Studios, the makers of this game, acquired the rights to Tribes and they're making a new "MMO" based on this. I put that in quotes because they also called this an "MMO", but it is more of an instance-based game (think Guild Wars?)

If you want to know, PvP gameplay is similar to TF2 (team-based objective maps with control points, push-the-carts, attack/defend, arenas, etc). There's also group-based PVE instances, and a newly-introduced (though somewhat lacking, imo) open persistent world, which has quests and everything intended to get you past the low levels (there's no real high-level open world content yet, and frankly, most gameplay takes place in PVP/PVE instances anyways). Lastly, there's guild-vs-guild wars that are based on a giant territory map discretized into hexes (though I mostly play solo, so I never really played any guild-vs-guild gamemodes). I don't think you really notice grind that much: level cap is 50, but past 30, you aren't given any more skill points to allocate (skill points can be freely reset at any time so you can experiment with different builds and loadouts).

Anyways, the game is 30% off right now, but if you buy the game from their website (NOT steam), you can apply one of the coupon codes to stack another 30% off, for a total of 51% off the game right now. You can still play on Steam by downloading the demo client, which is exactly the same thing (since demo limitations are account-based). Demo caps you at Level 12, and is free.

I CAST NECROMANCY SPELL

Global Agenda is going free-to-play this month, with the release of patch 1.4. You basically get to play the entire game that I paid about $20 for, for free. However, if you had previously bought this game (or decide to pay), you get some premium bonuses and services such as 2x exp/money per instance (less grinding), end-of-mission loot, auction house/mail system, etc.

Basically, if you already own the game, then nothing really changes for you, save for the content update and skill tree overhauls and rebalancing that this patch will bring.

The coupons posted in this thread should still be valid if you want to buy the premium stuff. Currently, they should be 50% off coupons, but will revert back to 30% off soon. In my opinion, don't pay for anything yet until you've tried out the game.
