Oh yeah, for anyone who was holding off buying Black Ops on PC because of the stuttering issue, it APPEARS that it got fixed yesterday. When I went to launch the game, it downloaded an update. The News log for the update is vague, but I played a good 5 hours of multi-player yesterday, and the only issue I actually noticed was normal server lag. If there was any more stuttering, I didn't notice it (and I DEFINITELY noticed it before).

I finally played a wager match (Sharp Shooter)--that was FUN! And I'm logging lots of miles on a 24/7 NukeTown server. :D

the patch made it playable but it still doesn't run nearly as smooth as MW2 did for me

Agreed. And my new rig should be able to tear through Black Ops, but it looks like a glitchy 60fps.

Just some subset of people, but there's no clear pattern of exactly whom is affected. My system was affected, and my specs are

Intel i7-950 @ 3.7GHz
6GB DDR3/1600MHz Corsair Dominator
Dual EVGA GTX 460 Superclocked in SLI

You whore and your beast of a computer. I want this game, will probably wait for it to go down on 360 though. Get it used/rent.

A question to people who have it.. are there any large player limit servers already made? something with a 32+ player limit instead of just like 18 player.

If there are servers with large scale combat, then I'll probably get the game when it becomes $49.99 or lower.
