The fixes that jermm linked to have worked pretty well for me. I still get the occasional stuttering but it's a lot less frequent and the game runs noticeably more smoothly.

Just got it, campaign is sweet so far. More condensed battles, they don't drag them out as much anymore it seems, which is very nice. Multiplayer servers are down though.... or, something... should've got this on xbox instead of pc.

I love the map Nuketown, it's so fast-paced and I don't have to worry about snipers very often :D

ya know I don't think I've seen anyone sniping on any map now that I think about it.

I usually do one of two things on Nuketown: AK74U w/ grip (Lightweight, Sleight of Hand, Marathon); Crossbow, Claymore, etc.
or just run around with dual shotties

The one thing that pisses me off is the lack of a ninja class to take down spawn-camping chopper gunners.

There's a ninja perk though, basicall use ghost, sleight of hand, and ninja
along with any silenced weapon

I've been getting consistently like 5-10k per TDM match without those huge exp-boosting challenges.

Try to grind out the pro perks ASAP, some of them are pretty insane. Marathon Pro = unlimited running, for example. Hardline Pro is also pretty good from what I hear. Ghost Pro makes you invisible to the... uhh, super spy-plane and I think it's Ninja Pro that makes it so enemy cross-hairs don't turn red and don't display your name when they mouse over you.

So... how long does the Single Player campaign last? 2 hours? 3 hours?

Hmm...I didn't get to play through it in one sitting, but I'd say it was probably about 4 hours or so.

This is the reason why I don't buy these games any more. 4 hours is not enough.

Eh. For a game that's mainly multiplayer a 4 hour campaign is pretty decent. I don't remember how long MW1 or 2 campaigns were but I remember being thoroughly satisfied with both of them.
