Funnily enough, a group of friends and I (including Dugong here) are getting into MH. We'll be down to play some time!

hello nerds, mario galaxy 2 is $10 on the store. note: using wiimote + nunchuck sucks more than you remember.

lolwat?

Mario Galaxy controls like a dream.

Also, Punch Out!! is coming out for 10 next week, and the week after that, the Metroid Prime Trilogy.

If you don't buy that I hate you

Guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

That said you're wrong and I hate you (<3)

like it's not "bad", but it's a combination of having to use the wiimote + nunchuck and having to point that fucking thing at the TV, stick accleration / deadzone, and the more dynamic level design.

I felt they all worked completely in tandem with each other. Like, I'm honestly hard pressed to find a game that I feel controlled more perfectly for the tasks it asked you to do.

So Pokemann and I have Smash for our 3DS's and the WiiU if anyone wants to play sometime, he's also got MH3 and demo for MH4 if anyone wants to play with him.

(does the wii u fucking turn off if you leave it at a pause screen for like 2.5hrs? also the wii had like 100MB of ram, can't we save-state that shit?)

well metroid on wiimote wasn't as bad as I feared. like I get that I'm playing $10 for a lot of content, but fucking map the pointing to right stick and let us deal with it.

the gamecube / nunchuck octagon stick is cute but I'm so glad the wii u has normal fucking controllers.

(also a metroid game without combat could be so fucking great)

The Wii U shuts off after an hour of inactivity, think you can turn that off.

Metroid Prime could play ok on a normal controller, but after playing Corruption I can't really get back into dual analog shooters. If I can't use a Mouse & Keyboard, I prefer the Wiimote. It's the second quickest and most accurate method imo. But I'm glad youre enjoying the Prime Trilogy.
