Sounds like a shitty game. Now I'm not interested and pretty saddened.

having watched a bunch of gameplay videos, it looks just like BFBC2 with upgraded UI. the graphics don't even look better.

i'm really disappointed that commander mode is gone. it was a unique feature to the battlefield games and i really liked it.

i'm disappointed and the fact that they are trying to use this game to leverage people off steam and onto origin makes me question whether i will buy it or not

yup, BF2 had two DLC packs that were not free when they first came out

You are very susceptible to video game marketing if you thought it would be different.

hey more pre-order content

http://bf3blog.com/2011/08/battlefield- ... -revealed/

Origin preorders receive an invite to the closed beta (previously for medal of honor purchases only)
Best Buy preorders receive a skin pack for free
Amazon preorders receive a "dog tag pack" (probably more customization for dog tags? CoD shit basically)
Gamestop preorders get the exclusive unlocks that were originally exclusive, but now will unlock for everyone a few months after release

I'll probably wait for more news on the steam release, Origin is a real pile of shit and running the Alpha through both Origin and Battlelog was a mess
