simple 9k file to change your origin ID

if you're worried about account theft, just change your password in origin, use the app, and change password back. but looking at packet sniffer, the only traffic it sends is to an EA server so it's not stealing anything

this was written by someone on reddit using an exploit in an EA iphone app (Free Scrabble) - you can change your ID from there too, this is just a windows version of the same thing for people who dont have an iphone

worked for me, instead of joe123123123 i am now ChainsawLaserman

Battlefield name and EA Master ID can be different. It says on my account my Battlefield ID is Bloodkraze and my Master ID is Bloodkrazex. Even though during the BF3 beta it used Bloodkrazex as my ID.

Even though I really want to change my name to Bloodkraze (from x) my other email holds the name Bloodkraze. I'm not sure if it's possible to change my other Bloodkraze to something and then change Bloodkrazex to Bloodkraze. Since it was taken once, I don't even if after it is changed if it will be available. Anyone know?

update: Created 2 fake emails with names so I could change them. Once you change one name it frees it up immediately. So if anyone wanted to change their name from their old account to their new one, this will work for you. Goodbye Bloodkrazex, hello Bloodkraze.

im talking about origin ID. my EA id is still joe2. when i signed up for origin i had to make a new username

my origin ID was chosen for me from my PS3 ID, I had no chance of choosing a new username.

So what is everyones origin id? I'm in as ccnipper

I tried searching for ChainsawLaserman and it couldn't find it. Also tried joe2 and it gave me several pages of results arranged in no particular order

Also origin charges sales tax, fuck that I never had to pay sales tax on steam

Yes your old ea account is now your origin account. Should be the same password and login name

my old ea account was joe2 but i had to make a new account for origin and it showed up as joe123123123 in the BF3 alpha
