I got an invite into the closed japanese beta of the game. I've used one of my 3 invites. If anyone out there was a Phantasy Star Online fan I could send you an invite. As far as I know so far there are only 2 other J2ers that are in it.

I've been playing it this weekend, it's actually very fun, feels like it might be a worthy successor to PSO. Hard to tell right now though... I'm hoping the game gets harder as you progress through the content. The boss of the forest area is a complete pushover, and I've never actually died yet other than from going afk once. Level 12 currently, trying to complete the matter board, 2 tasks left, cannot find any Breeadas

I bought Phantasy Star Universe, which I tried buying a subscription to but every time I tried my credit card had problems and I had to call my bank and fix them >_< I love Monster Hunter, so this game should be right up my alley ^^

Be warned to everyone who wants to try this right now.

Every single step that you have to do is in their Japanese website ,and Chrome is not cool with this.
So you have to literally use firefox ,and change the language to Japanese to open the page. You
will also need to type in a recaptcha with Japanese Kanji, etc. At least for the the main game, there is
an English patch.

The people playing it last night in Mumble seemed to be having fun for the short time that the servers weren't broken.

Uhh... It was really easy for me to get into the beta, didn't have to do any japanese captcha's or anything. I hardly had to navigate the japanese site at all, and I figured out the game itself really easily before I got the patch, and now the patch translates ALMOST everything other than items, so it's really easy to play.

I don't know how the invites and stuff work or if I have any, though...

Oh ship 2 has the most english speakers. It's the server Yatta, Djiango, and myself play on.

Got my e-mail working from Velp finaaaaally c: Props to him for having to deal with me, lol. I'll be downloading the Beta tonight and hopefully I'll be able to play with ya guys soon ^^!
