Dayz- Arma 2 mod

Yes. All that happens when I try to launch it is a cmd prompt flashes in the left hand corner of the screen, some words fly by on said cmd prompt, then it goes away and nothing happens.

I installed it correctly, I know that for a fact since I used the DayZ updated to install it. It was a problem with Operation Arrowhead, but all I had to do was run Steam as administrator and verify cache.

Is it all sorted now?
You have to right click arrowhead in your library and click "Launch Arma 2: Combined operations"

Yes... I think I know what Imma buy. Can I ask a question, if you play it off Steam, can you play with people who are NOT playing it on steam?

Yes, Steam is just used to authenticate/launch games, the rest of it is handled by the game.

Been looking into this, and apparently you can use the Free version of Arma2, with the purchased version of Operation Arrowhead to play DayZ. This will save you some money if you're buying it just to play DayZ.

If you buy a game on steam, can you log into steam on any computer and play the games you've bought? Hope someone replies.

Yes, but you have to re-download the games onto that specific computer that you log into.

Tried this game played twice and gave up. COuldnt find crap in the area and zombies rape me. :*( i lower the user average expected life by a lot lol.
