Skyrim - DLC

Post by King_Fluffy » Thu May 31, 2012 1:35 pm

Looking forward to this seeing as my character has always been a good vampire.
Essentially Dawnguard are humans hunting the flying vampire gargoyles who are gathering the Elder Scrolls to destroy the sun. You can join either side.

I want that horse, horse combat was something I could do without mostly because I never use a horse but if I can get a more useful and powerful horse I would definitely ride.

Better with kinect for xbox360... that made the whole video less epic.

I'll wait till they release all the planned dlc for Skyrim. By that time i'll be eager to replay it and get all that dlc in one go.

The Dark Brotherhood's horse was pretty good imo. Also, if mounted combat in this dlc is anything like the beta (which I am guessing is), it's only fun for ranged attacks. Melee mounted combat is a bit iffy.

I should've looked it up but I told my brother that Shawdowmere cant die in Skyrim like in Oblivion he then rode it off a mountain.
My main concern is when I buy a 5000 gold horse and it gets killed a minute later trying to fight a dragon.

I more or less agree; Skyrim got fairly boring after I beat all the main questlines. That said, I'll probably cave and get the DLC once it comes out.

So my like first hour of Dawngaurd consisted of me getting the shit beat out of me by vampire masters who life steal extremely fast.
And the character im using is sorta hardcore I must sleep at least 8 hours and walk everywhere so fuck the trip to Dawngaurd wasn't fun.
But im not far into it crossbows are sick nasty.

So I can get this for $12 on GMG right now. Is it worth it? Reviews seem to point towards it being rather average and not worth more than $10.
