Fallout is one of the best games ever made. The turn based RPG action is addictive. The paths you can choose seem almost endless; you can't do everything in the game in one play.

I'm not talking about that console shit, either.

I love the original Fallouts. Fallout 2 was actually my first however I don't think most people are going to prefer the kinda slow paced more complicated gameplay the originals have then the fast paste shot people and they die game play the modern ones have. But the original Fallout's had great writing and the faces they used for most things scared me.

Thats not a joke.

the medicine stick isnt that great didnt buy the dlc but stats say
0.02 less spread for 79.2 - 266.8 less dps
its lighter in weight but has a higher ap cost

Stats mean a load of fuckall when you shoot the thing and it blows every enemy away with sneak crits. Although I guess AP would be a factor if you're a loser who uses VATS.

crit multiplier is the same on both.
The dps on the survivalist is insane the ammo can be tricky to find but the added challenge is welcome endgame.
