you need 10 scales at the very least for fun stuff

it is possible to get the ash lake hydra to jump and slam its head into the tree for a kill

I wish I had done Ash Lake on my first playthrough, I skipped it entirely on accident. I'll have to get up there on NG+ whenever I get back to that game sometime in the future. I got up past Ornstein and Smough on NG+ but now I'm playing DS2 and after that def taking a long break from these.

/\ Yeah so she's dead now and i went to meet her hot sister and accidentally murdered that worm guy, hope i dont get an egg head. Also i got summoned by my friend and spent an hour getting him through sen's fortress and I took him to fight the iron golem before we took out his boulder bro and he instantly died and got super mad at me.

So the Iron Giant and his boulder buddies are totally dead. Sent Logan back to the shrine, but I wont head back there till I take out Lautrec and get my keeper back. I've made solid progress in Anor Londo, went through the rafters in the church, killed both gargoyles , and fought my way to the giant painting which I guess I cant use yet? Anyway I don't know what the big deal with this area, it's been pretty easy so far, and I can only assume It'll get easier from here on out and I bet the boss won't even be that hardjesus christ please help me

I only wanted the painting guardian sword :(
I honestly feel terrible for killing her. Worst part is: I wasn't even able to cut off her tail, so she practically died for no reason ;_;

I stopped right before fighting Ornstein and Smough nad had a blast running around collecting the stuff I needed to make it, and by the time I had made it I was super elite megaboss and spanked those 2 scrubs into next tuesday.
