Just came out on steam today. Anyone else planning on getting this or got this? Also is it any good? I was told its a cheap knockoff of day z, and im also told that its a huge improvement of day z. =x Anyone know anything else?

There's nothing on the page that explains it's still in Alpha and apparently half the advertised features on the page aren't even in the game.

It's a pay to win game with an initial price, its optimization is so poor that its minimum required video card is the GTX 460, like Lecter said there's basically nothing good to be said about it.

It's in alpha so that they can brush off any complaints with "it's still in alpha". Seriously. Apparently they use that as a reason not to issue refunds when the game doesn't live up to it's advertising. "You bought an alpha. It will function as promised sometime later."

I wouldn't mind that it's an alpha, but the mere fact that it rips off many gameplay aspects of DayZ bugs me. It's a shameless attempt at a money-grab, playing off the success of a free mod for Arma II.

Yea i saw the review of it thanks for that. And I keep seeing tons of people complaining about the game and asking for refunds. I'd hate to be on their customer service team. LoL

Aside from all this shit, I know quite a few people who did play it and liked it, but they said their main concern was actually hackers, and how rampant they are.

I personally wouldn't recommend it, it's a shady company and the fact that their anti-cheat is shit doesn't paint a good picture for fun.

DayZ is still OK though, and their standalone is released sometime next summer I think?
