Nothing wrong with unnecessary changes. Doesn't really affect anything. And they may feel unnecessary to you, but there are other people who play the game.

Lack of content? There is content. Do you mean they don't release hats every week like in TF2? There are plenty of games that don't provide any extra content after release. That shouldn't be cause to dislike Payday. I wouldn't rate a game's enjoyment based on how often they deliver content.

Player base? This isn't battlefield. You don't exactly need 60+ players in every game at all times. You need 3 other people. I can tell you if nobody but me and three other people played this game, I would still play it. Wether other people play a game or not shouldn't affect your personal experience with it.

Cheaters, yeah, this really is a problem. Personally I fix it by playing with friends. You could always be the host and kick any hackers. But I don't feel that because other people cheat is a good reason to be annoyed with Overkill.

how are cheaters a bad thing in this game, they are helping you rob the bank mission you are gonna end up retrying 3 times on over kill.... cman

I'm gonna guess digimon is talking about the bodybag thing, it does kinda suck I'm going to miss making huge piles of corpses but stealthing is still easy and I remember hearing something about adding in the ability to move hostages so that'll be cool.

The thing with the unnecessary changes is that they are half implemented. You are limited with the number of bodybags but you can't move hostages around or get more bags yet. You can no longer convert a security guard during stealth but each player can't dominate one guard each at the same time. These changes are useless without there intended counters.

The lack of content and diminishing player base go hand in hand. Payday 2 had 11 heists at launch and all but 3 paled in comparison to the heists in Payday 1. More have been added but they've all been short 1 day heists. This game needs more longer multiple day heists.

Not having people play this game is a problem because it is a coop multilayer game, built around 4 people playing it. If no one is playing it then the game is dead.

Cheating is a good reason to be annoyed with Overkill because they did not put in any anti-cheat system into Payday 2 and appear to be doing nothing about it.

Yep, I hit the quadruple digits...anyway how about we talk about the new update.

This update makes up for the Death Wish stealth fiasco with nearly all the promised features.
We got a new and really fun heist to play and hope that this heist is a sign of better innovations in future heists.
The gun is well...what you'd expect from a mass campaign promise, cheap, terrible, and barely better than the starter pistol.

Moving civs is nice if not time consuming, being able to get them all in one place while you aren't doing anything else is also nice to pass time.
For those that don't know each civ you have is a police unit that cannot spawn.
Only the first 6 civs delay an assault five seconds each for a total of a 30 second delay on top of the break between assaults.
Spotter is nice on all the stealth maps though I haven't quite used Camera Loop enough to see its merit.
I suppose with it Aced and a little foresight you can kill a guard in front of a cam, but you shouldn't be killing guards anyway.

Changes to the body bags feels right now and removal of smooth talker makes teamwork stealth much better.
Glad that dominator and joker are no longer Ghost requirements, that was always so silly.
Finally they reduced the guards on heists with the new guard spawns down to one on most heists it seems.
You'll still need to sneak around three to four guards in most cases, which I love as stealth is actually a challenge beyond shooting everything to death now.

Hope to hear y'all's thoughts on the game soon, and if you haven't yet go play what is left of the free weekend.

New heist in the works found in the game's files. Some Bain lines and asset images. Sounds like it's about robbing a military storehouse full of loot from Iraq and Afghanistan. Also, on the next page, the Benelli and UMP sound files hinting that we might get our hands on them at some point.

I wonder if they will be adding more lvl to increase skill points or is this just going to make it more of a crap shoot as to who has a good build when you play

Keanu Reeves DLC just dropped. Secondary with 30 concealment, melee knife with 30 concealment, dual-wielding in a new perk deck, and 3 sunglasses. Keanu Reeves/John Wick himself? Meh. Not a fan of the voice.
