Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Free Steam Weekend

Post by Echo » Thu Jul 04, 2013 6:48 pm

It's free this weekend so install it, you know you want to.
Just go to your steam library and you'll find it there.
Probably gonna be the best thing you've ever played.

You'd have to be a total shit-for-brains not to buy this, especially at the four-pack price, that's what I've gotta say about Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.

Only if you are playing with the keyboard

Well, and you have to change some default options like auto fly off, inverted flight off, lower the volume of the game
,and mute the announcer voice in the options menu.

Pro Tip: For those who might be a little bit confused, skip world tour and play grand prix instead because that is the mario kart style of single player.
Unfortunately, you can only unlock other characters in world tour.

What kind of a shit-for-brains plays a kart racing game with a keyboard?

well i had my fair share of "fun" with this game and its safe to say that it is probably one of the worst ports over to the pc BUT i actually had fun with it as well as after the race in the split second loading menu u can see that it says "press X for" what ever and it was a xbox button. i found that quite amusing how they try to hide it by making it flash by.

I don't understand calling this a bad port, let alone one of the 'worst'- because it shows Xbox 360 buttons as the default interface instead of keyboard keys? That's what you ought to be playing the game with, after all. Keyboards don't have rumble motors or triggers.

Besides that, it runs great, looks gorgeous (though sadly capped at 1080p), and the only time I encountered glitches was once during an online multiplayer game where a player used an uncommon exploit. Hardly a hackjob port.

the game play is fine and the graphics are beautiful how ever it really bugs me that you cant change the controls or change any thing really and there are a few things here and there that just bother me but its still a fun game don't get me wrong.

You can change bind the controls to anything.
