Most things worth killing try to attack you. What, are you sitting in area 1 of d. island killing kelbi? Stick with it a bit, and wait until you get into some 2-star quests. The action really begins to pick up there.

I just meant I feel bad for attacking things that don't attack first. Ive only done the tut quest. I know I haven't even given it a chance. I feel like im at a disadvantage without the circle pad pro.

I played it on the PSP, shit was fun as hell. Monster Hunter Freedom all the way! Although me and my friends weren't able to kill a Rathalos in one lunch ;_;

I believe MasterWholigans has the best monster hunter story, I'VE heard in a long time concerning Qurupeco.

Monster Hunter Tri, beating that damn Qurupeco online for the first time.

Nowadays, that thing is pretty easy, BUT the first time, it was me and two friends, so we went in, me and another friend both died once within the first 20 minutes (which means, if any of us die again, the mission's over). On top of that, we all ran outta health items at 25 minutes (50 minute time limit in total). We fought for a long time, conserving our health, we had no way to regenerate it. We actually survived so long that the one minute alarm went off. Now, we weren't just going to fight this thing for 49 minutes, WITHOUT any health, just to lose to a timer, so we all did a 3 person rush and killed it at 49 minutes and 24 seconds. I actually screamed "YES" out loud, it was pretty gratifying C:
