Clicky

Has anyone else been playing this? It's pretty fun actually. It's almost like it could be a Facebook game.

The main point of the game is to raid other peoples castles for gold, resources, and of course LOOT while building up your own castle with traps and monsters to defend from other players.

It just went into Open House till August 6th I think. So go try it out if you were ever interested in it.

So this game was released on Steam a while back and is free to play, I haven't really seen anyone talking about it. Has anyone gotten a chance to play it since I made this post, or even bothered? >.>

I watched about 5 minutes of someone playing it. The game uses the word "epic", which I hate, and it seemed like it was trying way too hard to be funny. The gameplay itself didn't even look like something I'd enjoy, so basically, I had no desire to play it.

Names terrible.

Game is an entertaining cross between ARPG and Dungeon Keeper. It's free to play, and worth the time to try it out. I don't expect it to have legs though. Something just doesn't "feel" right. It's too...mobile-y somehow. Despite not being something I could really see played on a mobile device due to its reliance on the mouse. At least it's not necessary to spend any money. The biggest paywalled item is characters past your first free one. And if you want to play this game so much that you need another character? They probably deserve some money.

The tags that it has in the steam store... The top 5 are Microtransactions, P2W, Uplay, Free to Play, Cash Shop. I get a bad feeling this could be a pay to win game.

It's not as bad as when it started. The only things that you pay for are mostly cosmetic now.

It seems that it was at some point. But if you curently google "the mighty quest for epic loot p2w" (I did) all the top hits are about how they listened to the complaints and fixed it. So the devs may not be smart but at least they're listening.

Apparently I bought this game at some point, probably drunk at the time. I've yet to play it though.

The name is bad ,but its so serviceable. It has the words Quest, Epic, Loot and The.
It also describes what the game is/what you do in the game unlike monolsyllabic titles that explain nothing about the game
like Rust, Nier, etc.
