I think it's good for kids, mainly because of it's price point, but the fact it's two static screens instead of having a hinge can also reduce breaks along that.

The shoulders are at the top, have the rest of your fingers underneath and thumbs on the face, looks pretty comfortable to me. Besides, it's not being marketed to any of you, except the crafties. 3DS is for 7+, they wanted to make a version that the even younger market could play.

Still vastly prefer the XL.

Hmmm. Having googled this since you provided like, no info, it seems pretty lame. I was thinking it could be a cool more affordable way to play the one must have game, that being the Link to the Past sequel, but it's only like 40 dollars cheaper and there are games where the 3D is used as part of the gameplay so all in all it seems like a pretty lame waste to shave off a few dollars. I guess it's ite for the people who think 3D is fuckin lame but I mean you can switch the 3D on and off on the 3DS and again, it's only a 40 dollar price drop. If it was like a hundred bucks cheaper I'd be all over that. All it saves you is like the cost of one game. The system is already pretty reasonably priced, if there was more than one game that's not even out yet that I felt like I really needed to play I'd have one already.

I say it looks uncomfortable because if you were to hold a regular 3DS like that you'd be holding onto the top half of it.

Probably doesn't help that I don't know the exact size of the thing though.
