Generation VI of Pokémon releases on October 12th for the Nintendo 3DS. Players will be taken to the Kalos region, based off france, where everything is French and somehow not shit.

Additions to the franchise:
first fully 3D traditional handheld title in the series
Extensively customizable trainer appearance
Fairy type
Sky battles
Hordes
Super training (EV's), and the ability to know a pokémon's EV's and IV's without having to guess with calculators
Mega Pokemon, basically a mini-evolution that is only active in battle if the pokémon is holding their specific Mega-evolution stone.

Now for the shit I wanted this thread to exist for.

Stage 2 starter evolutions leaked, Fennekin's a witch, Froakie's a frog ninja, Chespin's a stupid egg.

Also Garchomp's getting a mega-evo

Chespin's my favorite middle Evolution outta the three!! ^_^ HE LOOKS SOOOO HAPPY So hyped for X&Y, day 1 for sure.

The ability to look at EVs made me flip shit, never thought Gamefreak would pull that. I guess it's in their interest because it streamlines online play a bit more.

Have had little time to play so I'm only just departing Lumiose, but I'm rocking Y, and desire to acquire an Aron and a Clauncher at some point from someone with X.

Also will need a Tyranitarite at some point, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Also here's my team right now between gym 1 & 2 (Running version Y BTW and catching all Pokemon along the way, thus the little progress in 17 hours of play)
