This is not the case. There are small bugs, but generally none that are game breaking or that make it unplayable. Rocket and his team have been releasing updates on a near-daily basis.

I've found the game to be really enjoyable and it only gets better from here.

My god that's a kinda genius idea. Only problem I find with that are directions given to where they are being held hostage. Heck even right now I still have trouble telling where I am.
