Basically the Person that controls the behemoth has the goal of hiding from the hunters for as longs as possible while consuming the local wildlife in order to "evolve". The Hunters have the goal of tracking and killing the behemoth as fast as possible so he cant become an actual threat. The Behemoth wins if he downs all four of the hunters or if he destroys some sort of generator on the map.

I don't how much of L4D was Valve, but it's the next game from the makers of Left 4 Dead. L4D was pretty special and definitely "evolved" the coop shooter, maybe Turtle Rock can do it again.

(also I'd be surprised if Valve doesn't try another L4D game with a nontraditional payment model, because I think L4D as a Destiny-style* game with Valve's F2P system could be fun / super profitable)

*shooter with light MMO elements, character customization, same gear between PvE and PvP.

Oh I just noticed I had a key sitting in my email. I'll be kind of busy this weekend cause friends from back in VA are visiting but I'll probably get some time to play saturday night and maybe Sunday.

Also I only just now watched that video and this looks a lot better than I was thinking it would be. I'm curious how the balance will be between each side but it's looking like they did a pretty good job with that. This could be a very fun game to play in mumble. Being the monster would be kind of ronery but it looks like a lot of fun.

Though an extra few months for better performance + balance seems like a good move.
