Titanfall Beta and game release

After night 3, Xbox Live Compute powered by Windows Azure™ seem to be working. I would guess that EA is going to use the MS cloud for the next BF game. (though the big test will be once the 360 version is out, as that will add a good chunk of players)

Campaign mode seems to have player-shortages on US West, as everyone needs to play it once to get the Titan unlocks, hopefully they do some shit (XP boosts, etc) to keep the campaign playlist populated.

I should probably buy a new GPU as I'm at "low" / 1366x768 at 45-60FPS.

Which card do you use currently? I recently upgraded and have a few spare cards to unload.

Also, if anyone still needs a copy of the game you can get it for $30 using a coupon through Staples; I can confirm that this works. The PC version has been in and out of stock a few times, so just check back if its currently out.

Though I'm still messing with settings. 1920x1080 seems too much (100% GPU utilization at sub-60FPS), though 1600x900 with no-AA looks better / preforms similar to 1366x768 with 2x AA.

In conclusion, Titanfall on my PC is similar to Titanfall on Xbox One.

Also it runs smooth as hell and has accepted all of my key rebinds so it's already ahead of every other game I've bought in the past 6 months or so. Quality over quantity sometimes ya know?

That's because it's built on the Source engine.

I've had an obnoxious problem in release that didn't occur in beta. My sound intermittently fucks up spectacularly and may as well be muted. Shit sucks. I play a bit, get annoyed at random lack of sound interspersed with loud noises, quit.

I always have stuff open.. I suppose 16GB of RAM isn't as much as it was when I bought it, but it ought to be sufficient, no? Hell, right now I've got a fairly typical load and I've got some 13+ GB available.

After doing some task manager "research", it seems I get the sound issue after my total RAM usage hits around 90% (I have 4GB of ram like a poor).

I haven't been keeping up with this thread since I found out this was an Origin only game. So have there been regular get togethers within the community to play this? If that's the case it might justify buying it for me.

Found a potential sound fix yesterday. Tried it. Didn't work. During the one game I tried, I was also reminded about my crashing issue. My game just locks up for so long that I get disconnected from the server. Another problem that just never happened during beta.

My origin account was just hacked by russians, I'm presuming.

I just came back from traveling for work and try to log into origin. Origin says only one account can be logged in at a time and I think nothing of it.

15 min later after playing, I get kicked out of the game saying only one person can play at a time.

I go to my reset password setting and notice the reset hint is in Russian letters and I'm presuming they changed my password, so I can't get in.

I don't know how this happened, I haven't even been home for a week :-/

I was surprised how helpful EA was. I put my phone number into the help system and got a phone call from someone who spoke english in 30 minutes. 10 minutes later, from a very friendly person, I'm back into my game.
