I played the beta and it was definitely fun. I loved the new characters, but the maps were kinda just ok, some were a little biased towards certain sides
I have the first pvz and play it regularly but I think I'm gonna pass on the second one until the price drops. Idk what the starting price is supposed to be, but I'd pay about $20 for it just because it's still so similar to the first one even with the changes (and the fact that I'm not burnt out on the first yet one)

on pc they got the "play as you download" thingy, but my download went from 7MBs -> 2MBs so NOT WORTH IT

I have the EA Access thing (stupid star wars) Anyways i tried it and seems to have crazy balancing issues. Just be the flower and you can own everything up. lol

the rose is def OP, but I haven't seen too many games be all rose plants.
I think the balance is intentionally loose. in the "unique factions" MP space, as long as all the chars are getting played, I don't mind if the effectiveness of some are above others. the chomper is never going to be as "useful" as the sunflower but you play the chomper to eat a fucking zombie.
