So, I've joined a guild. I am pretty certain we're going to play Dominion, but they haven't even announced the server names so we can't coordinate just yet.
I know I'm going to play too much, particularly at the start, and I'm going to level very quickly. But a friend and I tried out the mentoring system on the second beta weekend (he missed the first) and it's fairly awesome. Just lets you play with whoever whenever, without screwing up their XP or trivializing content too badly.

PvP or PvE server

I'm gonna be on a PvP server for sure.
I don't think we'll be picking a specific server until we get a better look at their launch servers. They've said all the beta server-names will carry over into live (content wiped, obviously) but that will also be bringing up more servers as needed. Unfortunately beta only has the one (non-Oceanic) PvP server. If they don't announce more, I expect Pergo to be hilariously over-crowded come launch. Anyone making plans beforehand who wants to play on a PvP server will have to plan to play on Pergo, and then anyone who wants to play with anyone already on Pergo....etc etc. Personally, I think we should just play on the Oceanic labeled PvP server. It's still located in Texas and it means that the server won't be dead at any time of day. And it's named Widow. Widow is so very much better than Pergo. But it's not up to me.

And my guild just held a vote and we'll actually be going Exile. My Esper will be Aurin.

The game launches June 3rd, and there's a 3 day head-start if you pre-order(May 31st).
Carbine has said they'll release the launch server list 48-72 hours before head-start.
