I'm mostly interested in the khal drogo guy with the bow. The idea of Mirror's edge style parkour in an fps is really cool to me.

I kinda just want this more as a movie than a game. >.>

I do like that they have melee focused characters though.

Yeah, Brink was a huge success.

There are a lot of similarities to TF2 in this game. Here's what I've gleaned from watching the videos:

Tracer: Scout w/ teleportation ability
Widowmaker: Sniper with better map vision and mines.
Pharah: Soldier. Full stop.
Reinhardt: Demoknight.
Symmetra: Engineer (3 sentries, 1 teleporter)
Tobjorn: Engineer (1 upgradable sentry, armor pack drop, hybrid pistol/shotgun)
Bastion: Heavy that can only use his minigun when stationary.
Hanzo: Cuntsman with scout map vision and wallhack ult.
Mercy: Medic w/ resurrection
Zenyatta: Also medic, but with group healing instead of ressurection.
Reaper: Not too sure about class, but dead ringer ability and a room-clearing ult.
Winston: Heavy with rage mode, shield drop, and a goddamn tesla cannon.

How else can you sell an ultra violent game to children AND adults?

Three things I hope this game has:
1. Community servers
2. Community maps
3. A player count higher than 6v6
TF2 has these and I played that game for years.
It would be nice have a game that is something new yet familiar to TF2.

It's not going to have any of those it's Activision if it isn't there to sell DLC or micro transactions they aren't going to do it.

Also Zenyatta seems cool.

I wonder how many people are going to play Reaper exclusively.

It has more than 6 classes so I'd assume it'd at least be 1 of each class per team. Right? RIGHT?

The good news is that Blizzard has generally been pretty good about letting the community make custom content since its founding. Right now they even made Starcraft Arcade open to the public, letting everyone participate in the custom map tradition they built out of the original game.

I just wonder if that will extend to this project and how much control/agency the community will have over their own affairs, like servers of course. The latter Blizzard hasn't been so great on considering Battle.Net is basically a matchmaking network as opposed to the decentralized system Valve has generally relied on(and that allowed us to grow into a gaming community via RH4 and other joe.to projects).

If they don't decentralize it though, it would probably mean the player count will end up low per match as well just because of bandwidth issues. I feel like they will likely take the route they've always taken and give us a mixed bag of good and bad in terms of community agency.
