From the 30 seconds I spent googling it, I'm seeing early June now. God fucking dammit.

Everyone loves Gwent, but it's the one thing I never got into. Maybe I should start but I'd rather just cut people in half instead.

I haven't played Witcher 3 much, but Gwent stuck out as being pretty particularly bad while still having the appearance of being a mechanically competent card game.

Later in the game if you bothered with collecting cards you'll notice that it's not remotely mechanically competent and it's fairly easy to make overpowered decks.

I don't think you interpreted his post correctly

Just beat Witcher 2. Not sure if/when I'll pick Witcher 3. The story was interesting, but the game just seemed to drag on and on.

I tried playing 2 after finishing 3, but the controls were different enough that I didn't feel like relearning them, not to mention the huge difference in graphics...

2 still looks pretty good imo.

I honestly prefer the combat of 2 than I do 3. Less hacky slash, more precision and tactical based. Also more of an RPG aspect with potion crafting, reading on monster weaknesses, etc.

How long does this game go? I'm 36 hours in and I still have no end in sight.

It's long as shit, what part are you at?

I still need to play the second DLC.

The main game took me 82 hours.

Though I did a majority of the side stuff, even Gwent.

I'm currently in Skellige rounding up friends to defend Kaer Morhen.

Haven't even touched the DLC yet.
