In new vegas you could find deathclaws early in the game, they are the reason you go south.

the Microsoft E3 conference footage without commentary. Liking the sound design so far.

EDIT: also

Looking at this video closer; it seems like radiation lowers your maximum health this time around. Interesting. Might make up for the fact that you have less points to distribute among your SPECIAL stats this time around, which would make the previous games' approach of lowering those stats when you have radiation sickness no longer viable.

now that the MGSV hype is starting to slowly burn off, let's get hype over Fallout 4 again

there's going to be 7 of these things

question is are they going to make the wait better
or make it worse

probably worse

The 7 X 10 perk box looks like a good edition. A lot more practical than the Skyrim star chart. Also it seems like the perks system is simplified, compared to new vegas, which had perks with special and skill requirement. I would like to see the skills menu, then I will be happy until November. I see there are rumors about no skills in the game. I didn't even think that was possible. I'm sure they will cover it soon.

I might try a Charisma/Luck with only handguns build first play-through this time around so I can hear some of that Troy Baker voice.

do you even read
Bethesda wrote:If you’re a longtime Fallout fan, you’ll notice that the Skills seen in previous games have been folded into this system. The previous Skill system had some confusing parts and ended up spreading your choices too thin. Some of you had questions like: “What’s better, the Charisma SPECIAL, or the Speech Skill? Why are assault rifles in Small Guns?” Additionally many Perks simply raised associated Skills. The Gun Nut Perk in Fallout 3 increased two separate Skills. In Fallout 4, the ranks of Gun Nut act as gates for modifying and crafting weapons. Sneak was a skill in Fallout 3, and you simply increased its value. In Fallout 4 Sneak becomes a Perk that not only makes you harder to detect, but wraps in previous perks like Silent Running and Light Step into its ranks. By wrapping these systems together, it keeps the emphasis on your SPECIALs and the level-up choices more rewarding.
teal deer, skills are just gone outright in Fallout 4.
