Air Force (Enlistment)
Sooooooooo
I am proably going to join the United States Air Force on December 16.... I plan on enlisting in the Delayed Enlistment Program (DEP) and actually going to Basic in March. I will go in as an Enlisted Air Man.
I plan on becoming a Pharmacy Technition and have an AQFT score well over the qualifying score. Basic Training will get me 12 units and my Pharmacy Tech School will get me 30 units towards my A.S. Which means in addition to my 12 units I will have at the end of December and after Winter Session, I will have a total of 57 college units.
Nothing is final, but it is something I am leaning heavily towards.

Fuck the air force, the coast guard is where it's at. I was a helicopter pilot stationed in Florida for 7 years, man were those the days, except for when hurricane season rolled around, those days sucked, saving the stupidest people who didn't know better to leave. Whatever you do, good luck man!!
yyyyyy

Re: Air Force (Enlistment)
I said in my original post that I want to be a Pharmacy Technition... but If that job is full or they are not accepting, then I will become a Propulstion Apprentice, and that is someone who works on Jet Engines. I plan to get my B.S. in the AF and then I plan to re-join but as an officer.... my total gaol is to become a pilot. I really dont care what kind of aircraft I get to fly, just as long as I get my wings.Tasslehoff [eLa] wrote:cool, so what do you want to do? Mechanic? I dont think that is fair to say, I want to extend my education and serve my country.joe wrote:sure help george bush wage illegal wars by napalming innocent little babies GL!
I have stopped using all 'illegal' drugs. This is because I want to join the AF and go somewhere in life. The only thing I use at this point are Opiates/Opioids/Narcotics... and I have valid prescriptions for those. I get extreme stomach pains (which at this point is diagnosed as an "Un-Diagnosed Stomach Condition") which is the reason I get those prescriptions.Funny Hat Man wrote:So uh... mandatory drug testing still around or what?

I don't even think trying opiates will be a good idea unless I need it bad to make my death less painful.
