ceiling fan

i was wondering if it was possible to make a rotating ceiling fan... i tried making the blades a func_rotating ... lets just say the blades didnt attach to the fan too well....
why is it so much hassle to make a fan that you can get killed by >_<

every peice of the fan that you want to rotated needs to be part of the same func_rotating.

Make sure:
1. You have the brushes all aligned around one central point. Put an origin brush here.
2. All blades AND origin brush are bound by same rotating entity.
3. Make it real! Add a button to make it turn on and off!

Death... to die.... you must enroach the fan... or block it... sticking your head up there isn't enough, but if it hit a wall with your head in the blades it would chop it off then.
The reason my picture isn't showing is because my server went down as a precaution to the hacker's sunday.

actually, all you need to do is duck somewhere in the map that has a spinning fan and you might block it. Its the same principle as ducking 500 feet away from a car and having that car still kill you.
I would suggest making any rotating object "passable" to avoid that and just put a trigger_hurt around the fan.
