I think it'll be better if the text was a solid yellow or gold or something. Anyways, yeah, throw in http://www.joe.to somewhere on the top or something.

I dunno if I can make this because of, you know, COLLEGE APPLUHCAYSHUNS!!!!121

I still have xmas_ayeyahhouse_s from like 4 months ago though, I might work on that if time allows.

I have an idea... but it's a lot of work so I better start working on it today.
BTW Where are you guys gonna get all your textures? I can never make my own AND finish the map in less than 2 months.

I already have some of my textures; I took reference photos in my house way back whenever. Most of them have been converted and bumpmapped. I plan on getting a few more but I don't know if I'll have time. Another excellent source of textures and props is in the DoD:S GCF; even if some of the stuff is antiquated, some of the stuff will work (not for me though since my house is all modernish).

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll have to run around in my house too to make some pics. They don't have to be that "special" (in contrary to my Hangcastle textures that I had to make from scratch).

Yeah, I mentioned that if possible we make all of our houses and then put them on a single street, maybe in a semi-circle so its not one big long street. I think putting them one one street would be better than loading them each individually for like, 5 maps.

I'm down, I already have a map of my house made... somewhat.

DoD:S has awesome snowy pine tree models that are perfect for xmas maps.

Does snow work in CS:S yet? It works in colmar, but I don't know if the code was ported to CS:S.

ayeyah: Yeah, it works. I used it in a room in de_nightmare (prison room). Use the func_precipitation setting: snowfall.
There used to be a signature here, but it's gone now.

since i dont have DoD:S, if i downloaded a map with the models, would i be able to use them in hammer?
